You spoke and we listened! We are pleased to announce our newest Cross University Class - "Data Networking for Voice Professionals."
For over three years we have conducted this two-hour webinar, and user group session for a variety of customers and now we're expanding it to a complete Cross University Class which will run Monday-Thursday finishing with a half day on Friday.
Class Overview
This class will provide an overview of the basic data networking technologies, devices, and terminology that is critical for today's telecommunications. This class balances lecture, discussion and hands-on lab exercises to demonstrate the proper design of data networks to support Avaya's voice communication solutions and provide a learning experience that is second- to-none.
This course will cover the following topics using Cisco equipment:
OSI Model
Switching and Routing Technologies
Programming
IP Addressing/Subnetting
Routing Protocols
QOS, VLANs and WAN Technology
Is This Course Right for Me?
This class is intended for those who work in the world of voice, but would like to improve their knowledge to successfully interact with data networking technologies, devices, and personnel. Unlike other similar classes available in the market, students are not required to have years of experience to get the most from this class. We recommend students have a basic understanding of data networking concepts but prerequisite classes are not required.
