Cross is committed to supporting organizations that improve quality of life and make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. As Cross has grown, so have our opportunities to give back.

Our commitment is demonstrated through various volunteer work, donations and employees who donate their time and talents with a variety of organizations such as United Way and Habitat for Humanity. In addition, Cross has developed relationships with three specific nonprofit organizations that we are deeply committed to: Heartline Haiti Ministries and Hope Academy.

Heartline Haiti Ministries

Established in 1989 by John and Beth McHoul, Heartline Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization based in Port au Prince, Haiti. Heartline Ministries has developed numerous successful programs that have given the children and people of Haiti new hope. At the core of this organization are three ministries:

• Maranatha Children's Home and Orphanage; provides care and placement of children in Haiti and assists with adoptions.
• Heartline Ministries Women's Center; provides educational, personal and spiritual development, as well as career training.
• Port au Prince Fellowship; a non-denominational church providing spiritual support to ministries and missionaries within the Port au Prince area.

Cross feels strongly about being able to help improve individual lives and overall quality of life, regardless of race, color or religion and Heartline provides an avenue for Cross to do just that. Through financial assistance and volunteering time, talent and skills whenever and wherever needed, Cross plays a positive role in stepping beyond normal boundaries to help make a difference.

Hope Academy

Hope Academy brings real hope to the inner-city children of Minneapolis, Minnesota, by providing a faith-based curriculum focused on the fundamentals, and taught by master teachers who are top in their field with excellent track records. Serving children in grades K-8, Hope Academy works together with inner-city families and a team of educational, business and community leaders that assist in providing the children of Minneapolis with economic opportunity, educational enrichment and hope for the future. Their highly disciplined environment rooted in love and teachings of fundamental values are keys to their success. Cross is proud to be a part of this unique program and currently sponsors three students by providing financial assistance as well as guidance and encouragement as they progress through the Academy.
