Cross is proud to participate in the upcoming Fall ACUTA Seminar
as an exhibitor. ACUTA, the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education, is an international
non-profit educational association serving colleges and universities.  ACUTA represents nearly 2,000 individuals at 825 institutions of
higher education with members ranging from small schools and
community colleges to the 50 largest U.S. institutions representing
diverse Carnegie classifications in all 50 states, Canada, Australia,
and New Zealand.  ACUTA also has Corporate Affiliate members, representing all categories of communications technology vendors
who serve the college/university market.   The ACUTA Fall Seminar
will focus on two tracks:

"Supporting Converged Mobile Communications" 
Sessions in this track will provide up-to-date case studies featuring wireless deployments on campuses around the country. Presenters
will discuss wireless networking, WiFi, mobility options in an IP environment, and 802.11n. In addition there will be sessions about
cell phone programs, including financial and tax issues as well as applications on new converged devices.

"Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery"
This track will focus on ways that communications technology professionals can work with law enforcement, fire safety, housing, business continuity and other departments on campus to
prepare for and respond to emergency situations. Presenters will also describe ways that emergency notification systems fit into campus emergency preparedness.
