This newly created position will be an integral component in the continued growth of Cross. The diversity of this position requires independent thinking and tasking but you will be part of a cohesive team. You will be responsible for all aspects of project accounting serving to streamline processes and maximize efficiency. You will also act as a liaison across internal departments and our customer base. This position entails the following but is not limited to:

• Lead Accountant on all projects relative to assigned territory

• Administration of contract documents submitted by Cross Field Reps to ensure compliance with Cross’ contract policies and Delegation of Authority
• Setup of customer projects in Great Plains Project Accounting Module
• Process and release of vendor purchase orders
• Gather data and follow-up on vendor invoices

• Generation of advance payment invoices for all projects and follow through of receipt

• Generation of project invoices according to contract terms
• Internal coordination relative to project progression, tracking of project changes and resolution of project issues
• Coordination of project with internal Project Managers and Field Reps
• Identification/escalation of issues to management
• Budget to actual analysis
• WIP analysis per project and at company level
• Project revenue and margin analysis/reporting to help assist in accurate compensation
• Final review of project revenue and margin

• Review of general ledger project accounts

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 2 Year Accounting Degree

Detail oriented

System savvy

Strong troubleshooting skills

Ability to balance priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong organizational skills

Flexibility to interact with different personality types

Excellent communication skills
