National Account Executive

Inside Account Manager working within existing database as well as out of base prospecting to increase and manage customer relationships.

Responsible for providing a high level of customer responsiveness and follow through in accepting and up selling customer solutions while growing opportunities within the Avaya, Nortel, Siemens, NEC product lines as well as the Cross Telecom/Shared Technologies offerings. Responsible for determining customer requirements and developing solutions by using their own expertise and engaging other technical resources. Strong Ability to create relationships and understand how to Sell and prospect. Ability to create and manage a pipeline of business key! Must be aggressive and want to grow and develop accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenues from existing customer base as well as prospect for new accounts
  • Cold call, prospect and establish rapport with targeted existing and new accounts
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads via phone and email
  • Consistently forecast monthly and quarterly bookings/revenues
  • Meet quarterly MBOs
  • Additional responsibilities as position requires Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: (education, experience, technical skills, communication skills, customer focus, time management skills, independence, accuracy)
  • Bachelors degree in a business related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years experience with complex/ technical products and services, preferably in inside sales role
  • Goal-oriented and incentive, relationship building skills and a passion for customer service
  • Detail oriented self starter with strong time management skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to handle, adapt, and overcome change
  • PC experience including MS Office products required
